The Rachel's Kitchen expansion juggernaut continues. The sixth locale for the purveyors of California casual cuisine with a healthy focus will be found at the McCarran International Airport's D Concourse, currently home to Burger King, California Pizza Kitchen and Jody Maroni's Sausage Kingdom. The Terminal 1 culinary upgrade follows Scott Conant, the chef behind Scarpetta and D.O.C.G. Enoteca, who recently created the menu for the new Centurion Lounge near Gate D4.
The 373-square-foot space has allocated a publicly announced $230,000 for the makeover and will be created by the DC Building Group, who specialize in airport concessions. McCarran's official Facebook page reports an expected fall opening.
Within the last sixth months, Rachel's Kitchen has tripled the size of its Henderson location and opened two new locations, in Centennial Hills and at the Ogden in Downtown Las Vegas.
