Vegas Chefs Get Ready to Roast Curtas, Jacobson, Mancini

Want to see local food critics Al Mancini, John Curtas and Max Jacobson get their due? The three are letting the chefs of Las Vegas roast them on Sept. 3 at an event at Three Square Food Bank.

So far, Vic "Vegas" Moea, Rick Moonen of RM Seafood and Rx Boiler Room and Stephen Hopcraft from STK have eagerly signed on to roast the trio.

"Vic should be a lot of fun after my review of his restaurant, Rick definitely has some choice words for us, and Stephen has never been featured in the book, so I'm sure he has some gripes," Mancini says. He says more chefs are on the brink of signing on, including one "who I know has a SERIOUS axe to grind with me."??

Roast masters Dave Farra and Jason Mahoney of the Dave, Mahoney & DK Morning Show on X107.5 stop the physical fight from breaking out.

Tickets are $25 for the event from 7 to 9 p.m.
