LuckyRice Returns to Cosmopolitan with Asian Market

Here comes LuckyRice. The Asian market returns to the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas Oct. 4-6. Tickets for the three-day festival go for $88 for the Night Market with VIP tickets running $125 here.

The weekend starts with an opening ceremony on Friday, Oct. 4, at the Boulevard Pool. The chefs of LuckyRice make an appearance while a tea-tasting highlights the evening. Look for lion dances, koto and pipa musical performances and more. Ticket holders and hotel guests get in for free.

The big event is the Vegas Night Market on Saturday, Oct. 5 that turns the Boulevard Pool into an outdoor festival grounds. Chefs anticipated include Pichet Ong, Todd English, Jet Tila and Kristen Kish. In addition, Wicked Spoon chefs will feature an assortment of Asian-inspired bites as well as local favorites Fukuburger and Raku will offer their own take on night market fare. Resort mixologists Christopher Hopkins and Mariena Mercer will create specialty cocktails with an Asian flare.

The event ends with the Dim Sum, Bloody Mary & Mahjong Brunch on Sunday, Oct. 6. Susur Lee from Top Chef Masters and Lee in Toronto will offer his Cantonese-inspired fare to guests at Bamboo Pool as they design their own bloody Marys with Asian ingredients. Mahjong games will be held for beginners and pros at the boozy brunch. Tickets are priced at $65.
