Entering the feisty Las Vegas donut scene, the future Coco Donuts on Cheyenne Avenue will not yet dare head down the cronut route, but will offer their own pastry snack twist.

Not to be confused with their Portland, Ore., namesake, this store will feature a plethora of classics such as glazed, red velvet cake and donut holes. Fancy options include cinnamon sticks and maple or orange icing and specialty selections such as apple fritters, sunflower and bear claws.

Also on hand will be their spin on Eastern European kolaches, featuring a sausage roll or ham and cheese filling. Advance orders for pick-up will be available to be placed via the Internet. An opening date has not yet been revealed.
