Elixir Serves Up 24-Hour Booze, Gaming in September

New, 1 comment

Henderson is about to get a 24-hour lounge. Come September, Elixir wades its way into the former Daddy Mac's space on Green Valley Parkway.

This combination of dining and gaming promises a retro Vegas vibe with a modern flair. Look for chandeliers on the ceiling and red velvet drapes.

Already the joint has a menu planned that includes breakfast items such as breakfast burritos, sandwiches and build-your-own omelets as well as chipotle chicken nachos, house made chicken fingers, crab bites, mashed potato bites, baked brie, cream cheese and bacon-stuffed mushrooms, meatballs and more.

Flatbreads will come in BLT, meat lovers and Margherita while sandwiches and wraps include the Elixir chicken sandwich, chicken Caesar wrap, roast beef wrap, turkey and brie sandwich, South Philly cheesesteak, Caprese sandwich, French dip and the Italian.

Pretzel burgers, bleu cheese burgers, California burgers and a build-your-own burger options make the cut. Entrees include beef stroganoff, capellini pomodoro, chicken roulade, seared beef medallions, grilled salmon with mushroom risotto, pan-roasted bone-in pork chops and beer-battered fish and chips. Desserts include carrot cake, a creme brulee trio and banana fritters.

Elixir plans to have a daily happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m. and a late-night happy hour from 3 to 6 a.m. with $4 and $5 appetizers, $5 glasses of wine, $3 draft beers, the $5 Elixir margarita and the $5 house special — The Elixir.

The lounge opens Sept. 16 and plans a grand opening on Sept. 21 with performer Art Vargas and his band performing starting at 7 p.m., more than $2,000 in cash and prizes and a shot at Justin Timberlake tickets.
