Felix Arellano Brings a Gelato Shop to Downtown

Venezuelan chef Felix Arellano of Viva Las Arepas fame has up and done it again, this time opening Art of Flavors, a gelato shop with chef Desyree Alberganti.

The all-natural gelatos are made in house. Look for flavors such as dark chocolate, hazelnut, pistachio, rum raisin, sweet corn, S'mores and coffee bean. Fruit sorbets include banana, strawberry, mango, pineapple, passion fruit, mixed berries and lime. This spot, located in the same strip mall as Viva Las Arepas, promises to give neighboring Luv-It Frozen Custard a run for their money.

The small shop is open from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
