The hefty plywood for the upcoming Ketchup Premium Burger Bar at the Miracle Mile Shops is hiding construction on the latest brawler in the Las Vegas burger wars. The 2,675-square-foot space used to be occupied by Aromi d'Italia, a gelato and panini cafe, in a less high profile section of the circular mall, closest to a parking garage entrance. Re-modelling a former restaurant space is helping with the publicly reported construction cost of $220,000.
With room for 123 patrons they'll face competition from the Miracle Mile Shop's own Hawaiian restaurant chain import, Cheeseburger Las Vegas, residing less than quarter circle walk around the spheroid shopping center. Inside the adjacent Planet Hollywood Resort Gordon Ramsay BurGR already provides a more upscale burger alternative.
