Nightlife impresario Victor Drai plans to turn the BLT Steak in West Hollywood into a new concept dubbed Rare. Drai shuttered his namesake restaurant atop the W Hotel in Hollywood earlier this summer, and for this venture, he's partnering with ESquared Hospitality, the parent company of BLT Steak. Drai already plans to open Drai's After Hours and his beach club at the coming Gansevoort, taking over Bill's Gamblin' Hall and opening in 2014. BLT Steak, of course, already announced plans to open at Bally's Las Vegas in 2014. [Eater LA]
