FORUM SHOPS AT CAESARS — Joe's Stone Crab now has heirloom tomatoes as well as three new dishes that showcase lobster. First up, Joe's lobster salad with Canadian poached lobster tail, hearts of palm, avocado, corn and red onion atop a salad of Boston lettuce and finished with a lemon vinaigrette; then a traditional warm lobster roll; and a butter-poached jumbo lobster tail served with a rich beurre fondue. Also new, a summer vegetable gratin with sautéed sweet onions and garlic combined with Japanese eggplant, Roma tomatoes, zucchini and yellow squash. For lunch, Joe's Stone Crab has a pork belly BLT. And for dessert, August's Pie It Forward is mostly raspberry pie with raspberries, blueberries and blackberries topped with an almond-oat streusel. One dollar from the sale of each slice will benefit the Steven Jackson Foundation, dedicated to promoting strong educational values and healthy living among today's youth. [EaterWire]
