The exterior of Miki Agarwal's organic-friendly pizza joint at the Ogden hides a flurry of activity. Wild is the co-creation of the New Yorker and her biggest fan, Tony Hsieh. His Downtown Project is helping bring the sequel to her Manhattan-based restaurant to the ground floor of condominium building he calls home.

Via social media, Agarwal has been tracking the progress of the mostly gluten-free concept with a farm-to-table philosophy. The open kitchen is framed by reclaimed and distressed wood. Droplet lighting is in place and operational and she's now turned her eye working on the wine menu.

The original planning commission proposal for the site announced that live music, including Agarwal herself on ukulele, might be a bonus component of the Wild experience. That has yet to be confirmed.
Agarwal notes, "with fingers crossed," a Sept. 12 debut has been penciled in.
