Brace yourself to meet the newest steakhouse in town, Echo & Rig Butcher & Steakhouse, opening today at Tivoli Village. This two-story restaurant from Los Angeles chef Sam Marvin of Bottega Louie fame features a butcher shop replete with a shop featuring cutting boards, aprons, steak knives and cookbooks along with a bar downstairs and an exhibition kitchen overlooking the dining room on the second floor.

The 12,500-square-foot restaurant features room for 40 in the butcher shop and bar, 40 on the downstairs patio, 120 in the upstairs restaurant and another 75 on the upstairs patio.

More than 90 items make the menu including grass-fed beef, Alaskan halibut and day boat sea bass. Pricing here ranges from $18 per person for brunch, $24 for lunch and around $35 for dinner.

The restaurant is open Sundays through Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. Look for brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
