MTO Cafe to Drive into a Downtown Parking Garage

MTO Cafe is prepping to spruce up Downtown's City Hall Parking Garage and specialize in organic and locally sourced dishes with an eye toward local residents and office and government workers. The name stands for Made To Order.

In addition to a main dining room they are building a diner-style counter and will also focus on to-go orders and delivery.

Operating only for breakfast and lunch, the owners describe the venture as "committed to serving fresh comfort food in a highly personal, every day atmosphere."

Parent company Eat Here LV LLC estimates it will create 25 new jobs. The project will receive funding up to $50,000 from the City of Las Vegas Redevelopment Agency to help with opening costs stemming from water, sewer and electrical upgrades, in return for the restaurant's investment in the Downtown district. MTO Cafe is estimating a $437,947 budget for completion and a winter 2013 opening.
