Looks like Dolce Group is making a comeback in Vegas. The restaurant group behind Geisha House in Los Angeles and the former Rare 120° and Johnny Smalls at the Hard Rock Hotel is returning, this time with Ketchup Premium Burger Bar. A representative for the Miracle Mile Shops says the restaurant will open this fall near the entrance of the parking garage.
"The premium burger bar will serve burgers, hot dogs, fries, salads and shakes, which includes alcoholic shakes. Unfortunately, we don't have any additional information at this time," she tells Eater Vegas.
Ketchup originally opened on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood in 2007 and shuttered in 2011 with a look that reflected a classic American diner. The restaurant currently has locations in Washington, D.C.'s National Harbor development, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Rare 120° became 35 Steaks & Martinis while Johnny Smalls closed last year to become Fu.
The menu here contains more than burgers, although the namesake features lettuce, tomato, pickle, grilled onions, mayonnaise and a choice of cheese. Wraps, pastas, steaks, lamb and hot sandwiches also make the cut.
No word on which space Ketchup takes over.
Planet Hollywood Resort already has Gordon Ramsay BurGR, while the Miracle Mile Shops has the Hawaiian-themed Cheeseburger Las Vegas.
UPDATE: Now the Miracle Mile Shops says that despite the same name and the same logo as the Ketchup from the Dolce Group, "Ketchup at Miracle Mile Shops will not be managed by Dolce Group. It will differ from the restaurants in Washington D.C., L.A., etc. ?The name will be different, and the construction wall imagery does not include the actual logo." Developing.
