The ongoing dramatic makeover of the New York-New York Strip-facing frontage will include new retail, a two-story Hershey's Chocolate World and an urban-styled Starbucks.
Starbucks has already allotted $682,748 for the ubiquitous coffee chain to create a 2,239-square-foot space, accented by exposed brick walls, subway tile walls, weathered wood accents, fake ceiling beams and in the current rendering, a park bench.
Joining Starbucks will be a I Heart NYNY souvenir store covering 1,708 square feet, a second Swatch location for the Strip and a Stupidiotic novelty gift store.
Starbucks is also prepping for the unveiling of another, more compact outpost at Vdara. The 500-square-foot creation will be in direct competition with the hotel's Market Café "grab-and-go" coffee shop, less than 20 feet across the corridor.
