In probably the most surreptitious demolishing in Las Vegas Strip history, the former CityCenter sales offices have been flattened to make way for the forthcoming Shake Shack burger joint.
In less than two weeks from Eater Vegas discovering the early plans to level the space between New York-New York and the Monte Carlo resort, the 2.1 acre site is now dust and debris, hidden behind dark plywood to keep out prying eyes.
Despite the promising appearances, a late 2014 debut for the cult East Coast burger bar is still expected.
