Now that Coco Austin and the Peepshow crew have shuttered their neo-burlesque show at the Planet Hollywood Resort, the long in gestation Pin Up Pizza has also lost its cheesecake charms.
First revealed back in January, the space right next to Pink's Hot Dogs was originally intended to host a pizza joint featuring a pin up girl motif, including an animated glamor girl neon sign.
Now the project is back on track, with new plywood and the new name of PH Pizza. The fenced off patio seating facing the Strip is still being planned. The project has also toned down its ambition, shrinking from 1,000 to 760 square feet, allowing room for 58 occupants. The publicly declared estimated budget is $550,000. No timetable for completion has been announced.
