Robert Irvine Bringing His Restaurant Express to the M

Look who's rolling in to town to help the M Resort find a new chef for a new restaurant coming to the resort. Brawny chef Robert Irvine — who already has Restaurant: Impossible, Dinner: Impossible and Worst Cooks in America — technically drives the bus to Henderson, where nine chefs will compete to launch the new unnamed restaurant on Restaurant Express, heading to the Food Network on Nov. 3.

Here's the premise. The contestants will ride on this bus to different city on each of the seven episodes. Much like other chef challenge shows, this one dangles a shot at opening a restaurant at the M Resort "just minutes away from the Las Vegas Strip," a press release states. That would be nine miles from the Strip, but who's counting?

Apparently nine chefs compete on the show, but the bus only has eight beds (ugh, living on a bus). The contestants pitch their dream restaurant idea in order to stay on the show. Another challenge forces the contestants to put together a restaurant in six hours for $500 and feed a crowd of 250.

So far, M Resort is staying mum about any details on the new restaurant, but the resort did recently register the name Jayde Fuzion.

"We are in the process of opening more than one restaurant actually but the one associated with Food Network hasn't been released yet," an M Resort rep says.
