Wondering what's going on behind the plywood of Fizz Lounge, the bubblicious Champagne bar going in at Caesars Palace? Owners Steven Kennedy and Michael Greco, who are partnering with Sir Elton John's husband David Furnish to open the space, brought in designer Todd-Avery Lenahan of TAL Studio fame to create the mid-Century look and feel of this boutique lounge.

The trio gave Eater Vegas an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the 2,750-square-foot space with a declared budget of $3.2 million already under construction.

Guests will walk up three stairs to an 18-foot entryway with a curtain of golden beads raining down to partially hide one of the four VIP booths that fit 16 each. To the left, artwork from John and Furnish's private collection greets guests. A kitchen, where small plates including caviar, smoked salmon and even chocolate truffles will be conjured up by the couple's personal chef, sits to the left as well, just as guests are stepping down into the main room.

Lenahan describes the chandeliers as cognac snifters giving off a warm light. "It makes people look great, like they were just at the pool."

The VIP booths even have recessed lighting at the base to backlight fashionable shoes. Other Lenahan touches include hidden storage areas for handbags and holders for glasses built into the table. He describes the furnishings as mid-Century, giving the space a very retro yet modern feel with warm metallic tones throughout.

Greco points to the left, where the bar sits. Kennedy says an educated staff will create cocktails and pour wines and Champagne. To the rear sits a future deejay booth for setting the musical mood of the lounge.

Perhaps the biggest attraction for VIPs? A back door where celebs such as Shania Twain, Celine Dion, Rod Stewart and, of course, Elton John can slip in after performing at the Colosseum, which has it's own convenient exit practically steps away. Other VIP thoughtful touches include a green room, where celebrities can touch up hair and makeup before making an entrance.

Fizz Lounge expects to make its debut in November.
