Those who have been worried that the prices at Echo & Rig Butcher & Steakhouse would be too high for the suburbs can rest easy. Now the entire menu from the new Sam Marvin restaurant at Tivoli Village is out, and the prices aren't that bad.
Salads go for $8.30 and $10.10, with the more expensive featuring an arugula jumbo shrimp and a steakhouse chop with filet mignon. Thirty vegetable and small plate options range from $5.10 to $9.20. Four pastas ring in at $12.80 while 11 entrees including Colorado lamb porterhouse chops, Alaskan halibut, wood-roasted salmon and horseradish-crusted butterfish all go for a flat $17.70.
The most expensive items on the menu? Steakhouse cuts of New York strip, filet mignon and rib eye for $34.40. They come with homemade garlic chips and mushroom Rockefeller along with a choice of one sauce. Another group of five butcher's cut steaks go for a mere $22.50.
Nicest feature? Free still or sparkling water.
