It took almost a year for Pin-Up Pizza to go from revealed concept to serving up pies, but the pocket-sized take-out only joint is now open on the Strip at Planet Hollywood Resort.

Competing directly next to Pink's Hot Dogs, the very marginally pin-up girl themed location encourages female staff to wear Rosie the Riveter-inspired rockabilly wear. No images of pin-up girls are on display inside, but a lone, bare midriffed woman is featured on the exterior sign.

No individual pies can be bought, only slices, with standard toppings and variants like "meatball parm" featuring pomodorini pelati tomatoes and ricotta, or an artichoke option with spinach, scallions and fennel. Prices differ per slice, ranging from $4.75 to $5.50. "Not Pizza" items include stromboli pinwheels, garlic knots and cannolis. Opening hours on Sunday to Thursday are from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., stretching to as late as 4 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
