The Las Vegas Review-Journal just announced that it has reorganized its entire editorial department including features in an effort to create "[f]odder for conversations around the water cooler." For food and beverage coverage, that means the end of the Wednesday food section. "Going forward, those sections will not be dedicated to food and entertainment exclusively and instead will feature stories of all types." That does mean more "small plates" coverage of restaurants and their menus. [LVRJ]
