Wolfgang Puck's Restaurants Raise $10,000 for Jacobson

LAS VEGAS — Wolfgang Puck's six Las Vegas restaurants quietly raised $10,000 last weekend to help with the mounting medical expenses for critically injured Las Vegas food critic Max Jacobson. The company combined gross food and beverage sales from Friday, Saturday and Sunday operations at all six of its Strip restaurants and donated a percentage of the total towards Max and his wife, Setu. [EaterWire]

EASTSIDE — Hofbräuhaus celebrates its 10th anniversary on Jan. 31 with Mayor Carolyn Goodman tapping an honorary keg and presenting the restaurant with a proclamation to commemorate the evening. Students at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts created a custom Hofbräuhaus beer stein cake for display.
