Kerry Simon Headlines Event Raising Awareness for MSA

Kerry Simon, the rock and roll chef who announced in December that he is battling multiple system atrophy (MSA), is throwing an event at the Keep Memory Alive Event Center at the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health with a host of celebrity chefs and rock stars on Thursday, Feb. 27, to help raise awareness for the disease with no known cure.

Jean-Georges Vongerichten and Daniel Boulud plan to be on hand, as well as Sammy Hagar and Alice Cooper. Simon opened Vongerichten's Prime Steakhouse at the Bellagio 15 years ago. Expect a VIP after-party at Simon's restaurant Simon Restaurant & Lounge at Palms Place.

Simon has been undergoing treatment at the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health.
