Let the Craig Schoettler Imprint on Aria Begin

Craig Schoettler, the former executive chef of Chicago's cocktail lab the Aviary from chef Grant Achatz and Nick Kokonas, joined the Aria team as property mixologist last July, and now his first major mark has been made on the resort.

Meet Brass Tacks, a craft beer brewed exclusively for the resort and created by Schoettler and Baltimore's Stillwater Artisanal Ales founder and brewer Brian Strumke. This Saison Golden Ale makes its debut on Monday, March 10.

The beer has a light fruity flavor because of the Belgian yeast strain used for fermentation. At six percent alcohol content, it's comparable to other craft beers.

Schoettler and Stillwater chose the name Brass Tacks as a nod to their "commitment to nailing down the art and principles of craft brewing."
