The Scullery bar and 100-seat theater at the base of The Ogden is readying for a Feb. 12 event and a schedule that will keep the kitchen-themed bar open six days a week with a "special emphasis on well-selected wines" and a menu of "gourmet groceries."
Created by Michael Cornthwaite and his Future Restaurant Group, the corner space leads back into the building and will include "more intimate, unexpected spaces," like private booths.

The compact front space was originally planned as an eight-seat bar and according to the design rendering, equipped with a long wooden banquette. The almost finished version doesn't deviate much from the script, although the wooden seating has become an upholstered hang-out.
The small snack menu will range "from artisanal olives, pickles and cheese to nuts, sweets and other small bites." Once operating, the current plan is for the Scullery to be open from Tuesday to Saturday from 5 p.m. to midnight and on Sundays from noon to 8 p.m.
