CityLife shutters after 20-plus years and with that comes the final restaurant review, this one at the hands of Mitchell Wilburn, who calls Rose.Rabbit.Lie. at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas "easily crowned best of the late-night spots" with its 4 a.m. call time on food.
He calls the menu "vintage" with dishes such as lobster Newburg, rabbit fricassee, bone marrow with sweet and sour braised beef and lobster cocktail. Only the heavenly egg let him down.
Also of note, the $35 terrarium, "so very worth the price tag simply for the terrific experience of experimentation," with its chocolate renditions of dirt, rocks and herbal flowers.
RIP, CityLife.
