In case you didn’t get enough festivals in September, October is looking just as insane. The latest, the Grapes & Hops Festival at the Springs Preserve on Saturday night from 5 to 9 p.m. Land wines, some beers and food, all benefiting Par for The Cure, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research.
The Ryan Whyte Maloney Trio with special guest Callie Tucker provides the entertainment. Several local restaurants, including Stripburger, El Segundo Sol, Mon Ami Gabi, M Street Kitchen and Stella Barra Pizza will be on hand to offer free food samples from their menus.
VIP tickets go for $100 and include early entry at 4 p.m., specialty food samples and a private bar. General admission tickets are $40 for an individual, $70 for a pair in advance and $50 day of. Designated driver tickets are $30. Designated drivers will be separately wrist banded and will have access to all food samples, but no alcohol. For tickets in advance, call 702-822-7700.
