First came Giada De Laurentiis, opening her first restaurant at The Cromwell in June. Reservations were nearly impossible to secure (and still are). Fans wanted to get a bite of her California take on Italian cuisine.
Then came lunch, more easy to access, served up daily from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. salads with a twist, sandwiches, pizzas and antipasti, which are found on the dinner menu as well.
So you know what comes next — breakfast. Starting Monday Giada serves up the morning meal. Details are sketchy at best right now, but De Laurentiis did post a photo of a waffle with a poached egg on top, with either maple syrup or bechamel, and a selection of donuts has been teased. Start lining up at 8 a.m.
