Henderson, here’s your newest restaurant, Whist Stove & Spirits now open at The District in Green Valley Ranch, coming from Ryan Doherty, Justin Weniger and Kenna Warner, who also have Commonwealth, Park on Fremont and Blvd. Cocktail Co. at The Linq.

Here find a menu from chef Ricardo Romo with dishes such as grilled Spanish octopus with chimichurri, jicama and cilantro; a seafood hot pot made with Alaskan crab, shrimp, mussels, potato, and Old Bay; charcuterie and cheese; and a double cut pork chop with Bing cherries and broccolini. Look for sandwiches such as a BLT with pork belly, lobster rolls and the daffy duck with duck confit, stuffing and cranberry compote.

For cocktails, find the Whoa! Blossom made with Bombay Sapphire, Crème Yvette, orange blossom, lemon juice and egg white and Rosemary’s Baby made with Tito’s Handmade Vodka infused with rosemary, house made grenadine, fresh lemon, raspberries and Barritt’s ginger beer.

And because you need it, Whist is open 24-hours a day and serves all three meals and plans to offer a brunch on the weekends.
