Ralph Perrazzo, the chef behind BBD's out of Long Island, N.Y., says he wants to bring his burgers to Las Vegas. The former alum of Bradley Ogden at Caesars Palace, Jean-George in Manhattan and Clio in Boston confirms that he expects to announce a Las Vegas location off the Strip within the next three months. He brought Vegas its first taste of his burgers at Grills & Guitars, the Thursday night prelude to Life Is Beautiful.
BBD's, which stands for beers, burgers and desserts offers a steakhouse burger, cooked on a wood and charcoal grill, griddle burgers and steamed burgers. The restaurant uses no frozen patties as well as chicken nuggets and sausages made in-house. Also find the confit chicken wings, barbecue swine belly, cheeseburger nachos, candied bacon wedge salad and the chicken and waffle burger as well as pickle fries and Korean barbecue fries.
In Long Island, the restaurant offers 25 beers on tap and 40 by the bottle. Whiskey and bourbon are also on tap.
For the dessert portion of the menu, look for the Gooey Cinnabomb with coffee ice cream and a warm brownie batter cake. Perrazzo, dubbed "a Willy Wonka virtuoso of creative pastry," was also the corporate executive pastry chef for Pure Management Group.
Naturally, the Eater Vegas tipline is open for more details.
