The 51-year-old Decatur Tavern closed on Tuesday night. Owners Paul Halverson and Roger Szepelak bought the neighborhood bar with a drug store in 2008, but since the pharmacy closed and the slot machines were turned off. The Las Vegas Sun reports the shutter wasn’t financial; "Szepelak wanted to focus his attention elsewhere and they both agreed to cut it loose."
