Sad news for 1900 Asian Cuisine, the Chinese restaurant from Jimmy Li that specialized in Szechuan dishes. The darling of food critics abruptly shuttered, Chinatown Vegas reports. The upstairs restaurant that served some of the best xiao long bao dumplings with soup inside did not answer repeated calls during regular business hours. The reincarnation of Li’s Three Villages restaurant featured a much bigger menu and even earned kudos as one of the best Chinese restaurants in town. The restaurant inside the former Kung Fu Chef site served traditional Chinese breakfast, dim sum and Szechuan and Taiwanese cuisine with dishes from Shanghai as well.
