While the advertising promotes "Endless Excuses," you can hold the Alibi Cocktail Lounge to their new promise of an Oct. 30 opening date on Aria's casino floor. First revealed by Eater Vegas, the estimated $2,667,849 construction project will transform the former 2,360-square-foot City Bar into "the perfect convergence of premium spirits, imaginative ingredients & highly stylized opulence."
The 24-hour concept from The Light Group is also promising an "artistic cocktail program" and "unique libations with a contemporary approach to the classics and cutting-edge masterpieces." Theatrical cocktail preparation techniques have already been teased.
The major "plush" upgrade for the space will feature "decadent imported granite and polished nickel & brass accents. Warm tones and rich fabrics are brought together with rich leather wrapped wood furnishings in a contemporary, yet elegant design."
The lounge arrives just in time to fill the void left when The Light Group's own Haze Nightclub shutters at the resort on Nov. 1.
