And Now for the First Shutter at SLS Las Vegas

Say so long to the SLS Buffet at SLS Las Vegas. After service on Sunday, the buffet shutters until next year.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that new SLS president Scott Kreeger said the second-floor location "is doing OK, but not hitting out of the park" as compared to the other hotel-casinos restaurants.

Some buffet employees will move on to new positions at the SLS, while others will be laid off. The buffet had already scaled back its hours to the weekend, even closing at 9 p.m.

For those keeping track, Kreeger took the job two weeks ago after former president Rob Oseland stepped down after the resort had been open for two months.
