Sirio Ristorante OUT at Aria

The Italian restaurant from the Maccioni family is the latest on the chopping block.

The Maccioni family isn’t having a good year in Las Vegas. First Osteria del Circo closed at the Bellagio at the end of September after a 15-year run in Vegas. Now comes word that Sirio Ristorante, the sister Italian restaurant at Aria, shutters on Dec. 6 after five years in the city.

Over the Fourth of July weekend, a tipster told Eater Vegas that New York’s Carbone, the Italian-American restaurant from Mario Carbone, Rich Torrisi and Jeff Zalaznick located in Greenwich Village, would be taking its place, but Zalaznick never responded to an email requesting comment.

Maccioni family fans can still dine at Le Cirque at the Bellagio.
