The Longbar Wants To Be Your Bloody Mary Headquarters

The new Sunday Bloody Bar lets you mix up your own concoction.

If you prefer to drink your Sunday brunch rather than eating it, Longbar at the D Las Vegas has the setting for you. Now the longest bar in Nevada serves up its Sunday Bloody Bar from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. along the bar that stretches the length of the casino. Bonus: NFL games galore.

Order up one of the limitless combinations or call out one of five bloody Mary mixes including traditional; the Spicy Bloody with an extra kick of hot sauce; the Bloody Maria with chili spice; the Bloody Lucille with a smoky, barbecue essence; or the Bloody Mahalo, a Hawaii-inspired blend.

Then choose your liquor. Find six brands of vodka, and two brands of gin, rum and tequila.

For 50 cents each, add some toppings such as cheddar or pepper-jack cube; ground basil, rosemary, thyme, dill or cilantro; jalapeno, cherry or serrano pepper; pickled green beans or okra; a dill pickle spear; gardeniera vegetables; roasted garlic; baby corn or carrot; cherry tomato; pearl onion; scallion; or extra horseradish. To go truly extravagant, add bacon, beef jerky, hearts of palm, pickled asparagus or egg, smoked oysters or mussels for $1 each.
