The new Pot Liquor CAS at Town Square earned A grades across the board from HKR in her latest review.
She says the “Devil’d Eggs” went from ordinary to inspired with chicken skin cracklings topping the eggs. The fried green tomato salad featured goat cheese, country ham and red onion. The chili had enough smoked pork, brisket, ground beef and red beans to spicy ratio for her to deem it worthy.
She found the burnt ends tender and the brisket “falling-apart tender.” Lots of dittos in this review as she referred to the baby back ribs, fries with Alabama white sauce, cornbread with buttered honey and brownie bread pudding.
She did not like the collard greens with pot liquor and admits she never has. “So no, I don’t like pot liquor. But we sure did like Pot Liquor, which is a worthy addition to the ever-more-interesting array of Las Vegas restaurants.”
