The food court at the Venetian's Grand Canal Shoppes has shown some recent imagination for the casual diner on the run, importing less familiar names San Diego-based Social Life Pizza and the under construction, New York inspired, Prime Burger. But the recently shuttered Towers Delicatessen space will be filled by very familiar vendors.
The 2,161-square-foot space will be split between a Subway sandwiches and salads outpost and a new Chipotle burritos and tacos. For those keeping track, this will be the seventh Subway on the Strip, including another new location at the Fashion Show mall, close to Dillard's. Both mall's are under the management umbrella of General Growth Partners.
This will be the fourth Chipotle on the Strip, part of a greater Las Vegas empire than runs 17 venues. The Towers Deli was run by ARK Vegas, who still operate Greenberg's Deli inside the themed Village Streets Eateries at New-York New York.
