Now you have fewer options for cheap eats in Downtown Las Vegas. The Mediterranean Kabob Korner shuttered on Fremont East just a month after neighbor Uncle Joe’s Pizza closed.

Vital Vegas reports that both leases were bought out by Downtown Project, the effort by Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh to buy up real estate in Downtown in the shape of a llama.

Kabob Korner’s owner told Vital Vegas that he wanted to find a new location for his "Super Gyros," although he didn’t specify a space.

"Downtown Project is keeping all the kitchen equipment, so there’s a chance different restaurants may open here. There have also been rumors of a potential Zappos retail store."
