The "Fazoli's Tower" is coming down, but a six-foot custard cone sign will be going up, when Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers arrives in Henderson. Located in the shadow of Sunset Station, Freddy's already operates a local branch on Eastern, close to Freed's Bakery.
The 3,596-square-foot switcheroo will keep Fazioli's former drive thru. In addition to their namesake streakburgers and frozen custard concretes and sundaes, Freddy's serves Chicago dogs, patty melts and fries cooked with "Freddy's Famous Fry Seasoning." The company's distinctive red and white color scheme will be in place on the awnings and decor and a giant frozen custard cone will become the welcoming beacon on the front of the restaurant built to seat 98 guests.
Freddy's has begun its way through the City of Henderson approval process.
