Only two months after Eater Vegas revealed a unique chicken pot pie concept headed to Spring Valley, Pie Me Over is up and running and providing upper crust pies to the cognoscenti.
The compact 665-square-foot space at the Rainbow Pavilion outdoor mall creates just one thing, but has already created a fan base for their mono-focused wares. Ranging in size from individual to large serving four, Pie Me Over rotisserie cooks chickens on site and adds "savory carrots, baby peas, celery, onions, parsley, different seasonings, and a spot of dry sherry" to the recipe. The pie crust comes in three styles, regular, cheddar and habañero cheddar, adding a little kick. And that is the entire menu.
Guests can either pick up an uncooked chicken pot pie to bake at home or call one hour ahead and they will bake it for you. There are also frozen pies available.
Pie Me Over can also customize the tops of the pie with dozens of pastry symbols cooked into the crusts, including animals, insects, seasonal, romance, birthday and alphabet letters.
Prices range from $6.50 to $19.50 for the habañero cheddar crusted pie for four. Hours are Monday to Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m, Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and closed on Sundays.
