Rapidly expanding national chain PDQ, a.k.a People Dedicated to Quality, isn't just coming to the westside. After Eater Vegas revealed the Florida-based champions of chicken tenders were headed to Nevada, representatives followed up to announce the Sahara location will actually be their second local venture to debut. The first will start serving in North Las Vegas.
A 4,400-square-foot lot on the corner of Craig Road and Allan Lane will host their premiere restaurant, with a drive thru and a focused menu based around crispy chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches and salads. All items are made with fresh ingredients and no red meat in sight.
Created by former Outback Steakhouse co-founder Bob Basham and Nick Reader, former CFO of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the chain attempts to bring an upscale casual dining feel to the quick dining experience with decor and customer service seen as a high priority.
With locations in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas and Texas, this first PDQ was unanimously approved to proceed by the North Las Vegas City Council and is considered a catalyst for improving the area as the first phase in inspiring new businesses to become fellow neighbors.
