Behold! The Bocho Downtown Sushi Menu

The opening may be soft, but Bōchō Downtown Sushi is already packing them in at the John E. Carson Hotel on the corner of Sixth Street and Carson Avenue. Created by Le Thai mastermind Dan Coughlin, he's combined the talents of architectural firm Bunnyfish Studio to design the space and Jimmy and Becky Chun of the recently shuttered Tokyo Japanese Restaurant to design the menu.

Not only has Coughlin created the first serious sushi restaurant Downtown, he's made it a place to lunch. Boxes and lunch sets will be available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., ranging in price from $10.95 for tempura udon with 4 pieces of California or spicy tuna roll to $18.95 for "Fish Roe Bowl Uni, Ikura, Masago & Quail Egg with Vegetables."

For dinner plans, the omakase, "chef's choice", special for $75 per person will be the pick for adventurous diners and that meal includes a free soju cocktail.

First uncovered by Eater Vegas over a year ago, guests can sit up close and personal with the chefs downstairs at the countertop sushi bar, or head upstairs for table seating and a karaoke room.

Bocho has yet to formally announce their debut, or post exact times for the dinner service.
