Modo Mio To Make Italian Your Way at Westgate?

It looks like there is movement on the new restaurants for the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino.

The former Las Vegas Hilton, LVH and now Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino has been promoting a large shake up of its dining options since its rebranding in July and now it looks like things are moving forward. As Eater Vegas first reported, Vince Neil’s Tatuado Restaurant & Cantina has quietly shuttered, making way for a new unnamed Mexican restaurant concept. But there is much more to come.

Modo Mio Ristorante Italiano has recently been trademarked by the resort for use as an Italian restaurant. This falls in line with the list of plans announced by new owner David Siegel earlier this year.

Replacing the existing Paradise Cafe will be Sid's, named after Siegel's father. A handful of Westgate Resorts already feature a Sid's Deli or Sid's Bistro.

Park City, Utah's Edge Steakhouse will provide the new flagship restaurant and is reportedly bringing along Drafts Sports Bar & Grill, both part of the Westgate Park City Resort & Spa complex. Edge will replace the existing TJ's Steakhouse.

While once promised plans to remove the current Shimmer Cabaret room have been reversed, the status of a dayclub and nightclub suggested to take over the former 80,000-square-foot Star Trek Experience space has yet to be updated. Tempo music and cocktails lounge is also still open and was also once destined for the chop.

Las Vegas institution Benihana is known to ride out any future changes, as is The Buffet, leaving current dining options 888 Noodle Bar, Burger Bistro, Teru Sushi possibly in line for upgrades or changes.
