Andrea's 'Winter Wine-derland' Debuts; Andre's Final Whisk(e)y Wednesday of 2014

ENCORE LAS VEGASAndrea’s kicks off its “Winter Wine-derland” pairing menu starting tonight.Created by executive chef Joseph Elevado and sommelier Samuel Roe, Andrea’s “Winter Wine-derland” rotating menus will include specially priced small plates paired with a selection of wines and new specialty cocktails. This week, find hamachi sashimi with crispy garlic, pickled cherry pepper, cilantro and sudachi soy ($11), sweet chili shrimp cups with sweet chili aioli, green onion and bibb lettuce ($11), and short rib fried rice with green onion, carrot and asparagus ($10).  Wine pairing choices include George “Sonoma Coma” Pinot Noir ($9) and Ramey Chardonnay ($9), with an Asian Pear ($16) specialty cocktail selection. MONTE CARLO — Andre’s Restaurant & Lounge hosts its final of Whisk(e)y Wednesday of 2014 this week in the cigar lounge from 8 to 10 p.m. featuring Canadian whiskies. Crown Royal will be educating guests about the best ways to enjoy the spirits. The lineup includes Crown Royal, Crown Royal Special Reserve, Crown Royal Black, Crown Royal XR (Extra Rare) and craft cocktails made with Crown Royal. The price is $35 per person.
