Smashburger's First Strip Location Invades the Strip Dec. 23

Back in October, Eater Vegas dished out details on the very first Smashburger opening on the Strip. Right before Christmas, on Dec. 23, Smashburger debuts that restaurant at the Forum Food Court, undergoing a major renovation of the 14,900-square-foot space at Caesars Palace.


In 2013, Eater Vegas talked to Smashburger founder Tom Ryan about the possibility of opening on the Strip.

If I did, I wouldn't talk to you about it. (Laughing) It would depend on where we are and it would depend on the circumstances. The best solutions come when they present themselves. We like to stay organic in our thinking on those fronts.

This marks the ninth Smashburger in Las Vegas. Aside from its burgers made with all-natural Certified Angus Beef and smashed on a 400 degree flat grill finde rosemary and garlic–seasoned Smashfries, Haystack Onions and Veggie Frites, as well as shakes, root-beer floats in frosted mugs and beer.

The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Earl of Sandwich and a Caesars in-house created pizza joint are also planned in the Forum Food Court, and Starbucks has already debuted.
