This is what Mexican food has become in Nevada. Buckle up, Laughlin. You’re about to get whirling dervish Guy Fieri in Harrah’s Laughlin. The resort confirms that the human volcano eruption will open Guy Fieri’s El Burro Borracho on Dec. 29.
The drunk ass — yes, the translation for El Burro Borracho — drives diners to Flavortown with dishes such as Lava Rock Shrimp Tacos, Trash Can Nachos, Fajitas de Pollo and Carne Asada Burrito, according to the Mojave Daily News.
Fieri overruns the resort’s former Baja Blue space with a 4,915-square-foot restaurant. This Mexican-themed prototype, which surely you can expect to pop up elsewhere within the Caesars Entertainment empire, spent an estimated $500,000 in construction costs for the kitchen, bar, main dining room and "enclosed patio."
Fieri was apparently in Laughlin to check in on the progress of El Burro Borracho. “My expectations for El Burro Borracho are high, but I was blown away today by the progress we’ve made. The incredible staff combined with stellar food and drink menus and a rocking fun environment, make for an experience unlike anything else in the area.”
Fieri, of course, has Guy Fieri's Vegas Kitchen & Grill at the newly renamed Linq.
