One building is demolished and now it awaits the pods. Pawn Stars' Rick and Corey Harrison, the Old Man and Chumlee are on their way to becoming mini-mall mavens. Their forthcoming Pawn Plaza will be located across the parking lot from the famed Gold and Silver Pawn Shop, home base of their widely popular History Channel reality show.

An updated photo from the Pawn Stars staff shows a former tattoo studio has vanished and crews are hard at work to create a new downtown destination for shoppers, casual diners and TV star spotters.

Taking a cue from Downtown's Container Park, steel cubes will create the complex, with tenants housed in pods sized between 88 to 1,152 square feet, with 10- or 12-foot ceilings.

Plans have suggested as many as 10 mini restaurants could fit into the two levels. The projected cost had been quoted as $2 million and real estate brokers Cushman & Wakefield are dealing with lease inquiries.
