Yet another new bar is headed downtown, but you'll have to wait a little longer for it to become part of the local tavern scene. Jury Bar will be slotted into suite 107 at 321 S. Casino Center Blvd. and at 350-square-feet that will be a tight fit.

Under a previous incarnation as The Lucky Little Chapel there was only room for 25 revelers inside. Created by Kevin Plencner, the owner of Oak Brook Realty and Investments and the parking garage hosting the bar on the ground floor, the tiny tavern will be located around the corner from Summerlin's Sultan's Grill's downtown outpost. Plencner has been attempting to jump-start the retail and dining options at the base of his building ever since his purchase of the half acre lot back in 2008.

The bar was to begin the permit process before construction this coming January, but at Plencner's request, initial public hearings have now been delayed until February. Jury Bar will be located within a few steps from the Clark County Detention Center, Courthouses and Marriage Bureau and one block from neighborhood fixture, the Courthouse Bar & Grill.
