The Silverton Resort Casino is constructing a 390-room, all-suite tower and is now looking at the dining options for all those new visitors. A new, unnamed, Asian restaurant will be created next to Starbucks, with a hefty investment budget.
Taking over the shell of a pizza outlet, the 1,364-square-foot footprint will include room for 46. Construction will gut the space and has earmarked an estimated $532,594 for the build.
How casual the tone of the venture has yet to be revealed, but current plans include the addition of a Chinese barbecue smokehouse and a specific request for a "custom duck display" with glass doors and hanging racks.
The new tower is expected to be unveiled in spring of 2016, bringing the resort's room count to almost 700.
